Traffic Snarls at Jellick and Colima

Did you know September is Attendance Month? Attendance is very important for learning. September is also Trustworthiness month for Character Counts! The two go together. Students (and even adults) need to be trustworthy to get to class on time.

Like me, you were surprised by the construction on Colima this morning. Now that you know, what will you do? School still starts at 8:25, therefore you will need to leave earlier to get to Jellick on time.

Another option for drivers is to use Greenbay and walk through the back gate. Drive north on Greencastle Ave. and stay to the left. Turn left at Greenbay. Watch your children as there is no crossing guard there. That gate also closes at 8:25. So don't get a tardy, leave earlier and beat the traffic.

Good news! Our library is open in the morning before school. Why fight traffic and be late? Come early and read with your child in our peaceful library. We want to crush our reading goal and reach 100 million words school-wide.

See you tomorrow - before 8:25!
