Good Morning Jellick Families:
Today we are pleased to be able to launch PE and Music opportunities for our students. When you and your child log into Google Classroom, you will see a link for PE class (and music if this is the school's week for music). We apologize for not providing notice further in advance and any stress this may have caused. We also know that you may have conflicts at specific times on Wednesdays that make participating, especially today, more difficult. Please note that students are able to join any scheduled time throughout the day, regardless of their school.
Live Instruction PE on Wednesdays:
Our students and parents have asked about adding the opportunities for movement and exercise and our dedicated RUSD PE teachers have designed great lessons for our students.
Every Wednesday, PE will be offered weekly through live instruction. PE is also available through recorded lessons that will be shared by your teacher. If students are unable to participate in their scheduled PE class, they are able to join ANY scheduled time throughout the day, regardless of their school. Please note attendance will not be taken for PE, but participation is encouraged.

Music Classes
Our RUSD Music teachers also have recorded lessons for students to learn from each week. As part of the Music for All in RUSD, our school will have live music instruction on October 21 and December 9, 2020. Students in grades 1-3 take general music, grades 4 have the option of general music or strings, and grades 5-6 have the option of general, band or strings. Previously you selected the music preference for your child and I know our students are eager to get started.
