ELEMENTARY MUSIC INSTRUMENT DISTRIBUTION DAY

The distribution of instruments for elementary students will take place this Friday, August 11, 2017 from 1-6pm at the Rowland Unified School District Office in the Board Room. Students in 4^th – 6^th grade that signed up for an instrumental music class and requested to borrow a District instrument must come with a parent or legal guardian. Students who are requesting to borrow a string instrument must come at the time of pick-up to be measured for their instrument.

INSTRUMENT PICK UP DATES/TIMES & LOCATIONS:

• Friday, August 11, Rowland Unified District Office 1 PM to 6 PM. The District Office is located at 1830 S. Nogales Street, Rowland Heights, 91748.
• Tuesday, August 15, Rowland Elementary School 3 PM to 6 PM. Rowland Elementary is located at 2036 S. Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights 91748.
• Thursday, August 17, Northam Elementary School 3 PM to 6 PM. Northam Elementary is located at 17800 E. Renault Street, La Puente 91744.

A $50.00 instrument loan donation is requested at the time you pick up your instrument and a music book may be purchased for $6.00.  Parents who have a financial hardship may apply for a waiver. All students may borrow an instrument regardless of their parent’s inability to pay.

If you did not select a class for your student before school was out in June, you must complete the Class Selection Form no later than Friday, August 18, 2017.   If you are unable to complete the Class Selection Form online, please pick up a hard copy of the Music Selection form from your school office. 

Students who DO NOT complete the Music Class Selection form by FRIDAY, AUGUST 18, 2017 will be placed in the next available class.

La distribución de instrumentos para los estudiantes de primaria se realizará este viernes, 11 de agosto, 2017 de 1 a 6pm en el Salón de Juntas de la Oficina del Distrito Escolar de Rowland. Los estudiantes en los grados 4^to al 6^to que se inscribieron para una clase de instrumento y pidió prestarse un instrumento del distrito, debe venir con un padre o tutor legal. La Oficina del Distrito está localizada en el 1830 S. Nogales St., Rowland Heights, CA 91748.

Se solicita una donación de $50.00 por el préstamo del instrumento al momento de recoger su instrumento y se puede comprar el libro de música a $6.00. Los padres que tengan dificultad financiera pueden solicitar una exención. Todos los estudiantes pueden prestarse un instrumento sin importar si sus padres pueden o no pagar.
